The Central Coast Treatment Center for Eating, Exercise and Body Image Disorders is currently seeking a part-time nutrition assistant for approximately 15-20 hours/week that is able to start training as soon as possible.

As the "Nutrition Assistant", the individual will be responsible for the following:

-Cooking and preparing meals based on an exchange system and cycle menu

-Sitting with and supporting clients through therapeutic meals

-Offering clients supplementation when needed

-Cleaning, organizing and restocking the kitchen

-Taking clients on therapeutic grocery outings

-Assisting RD's with implementing client meal plans

-Weekly grocery shopping

-Participating in treatment coordination and other duties as they arise

We provide partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels of care. Central Coast Treatment Center is a homelike setting with a small staff of approximately 10-12 employees including Registered Nurses, Dietitians, Nutrition Assistants, and Mental Health Counselors.
